Baiyang Trail

About

The Baiyang Trail in Taroko Gorge is a short but spectacular walk that packs a punch. It’s an easy, paved path that follows the Liwu River, leading you through a series of tunnels carved into the marble cliffs. The highlight is the Water Curtain Tunnel, where water cascades down from above, creating a shimmering curtain you have to walk through—bring a raincoat or don’t mind getting wet! The trail ends at a powerful waterfall, but the journey itself is the real reward, with constant views of the gorge’s sheer walls and the turquoise river below. It’s one of the most accessible trails in Taroko, perfect for families or anyone wanting a taste of the park’s grandeur without a strenuous hike.
